Well, the season is over for the EST skaters. We will now be winding down into our summer mode. Details can be found in the forum regarding this. The forum can be accessed via the main website page under the “New Forum” option on the left.

Speaking of which, there is a new forum. It is integrated into the system and will use your UserID from the website. Another change that will be made very soon is we will be using the email addresses on the web site to do our emails. As most of you know, these mainly consist of schedule changes and information. If you have not registered yet, please do so you do not miss out on important information.

Oaks Park Regionals - '06 / '07 Season
Written by Doug McNall
Tuesday, 15 May 2007

We made it through regionals! All of the skaters did a great job and deserve a big round of applause. Oaks Park was lots of fun and everyone seemed to have a great time getting to know all of the other team members.

Pictures are available Here .

The Skaters did a great job and all of the hard work is paying off. We’ll relax a bit over the summer and pick it up again next season.

 Cheers!

Doug

Burlington Blast, December 9th-10th 2006: our second meet!
Written by Daniel McNall
Wednesday, 27 December 2006

The everett speed team has been training hard since the last competition in Coeur d'Alene. This training has finally led up to our second meet down in Burlington at the skagit skate, the Burlington Blast. When we arrived, we noticed many of the same people competing from the last meet. We have learned that the world of Inline Speed skating is small, yet very friendly. The floor condition was not up to standards. Many of the people were complaining and, in fact, was more slippery than our current training floor. Despite this, we were still able to skate without too many serious problems. All of the team was confident and happy, so I would say that this was another successful meet!

The next meet will be at Auburn on the 27th of January. There will probably be many more competitors from our team going to this upcoming meet. Stay up to date for further news on our next meet.
